Understanding Why Are My Customers Not Blooming?

When I talk to clients about their frustration with their customers, the number one complaint is that their customers don’t show any interest in what they have to say. When I asked them why that is, I discovered that my patients really don’t show any interest in what we have to say, but only because they are afraid that if they don’t do what we say, they’ll get angry and lose all credibility. That’s why I’m so sure that you’ll agree that it’s necessary to show your customers that you really do want to work with them and that it’s not a game or some game that they can easily win. Here’s the way to make that happen.

First, you have to make your customers love you. In order to do that, you have to get to know your customers so well that they become part of your family. If you’ve got a great relationship with your customer from the beginning, you can expect to hear from them often and they’ll tell their friends too. The best way to do that is to give them value and make them feel valued.

When you take care of your customers and value them, they’ll definitely bloom. The more you value them, the more they will value you, and that creates a positive feedback loop in your business. With constant positive feedback, your customers will be happy to tell their friends and will recommend you to other customers, and so on.

Second, you have to develop a special connection with your customers. You might think this is easier said than done, and in fact, it’s very hard to do. However, if you’re ever going to truly find out if someone loves you or not, the only way to do it is to get that person to express their love for you. It might be hard, but once you get that love, you’ll know that you can count on getting more of it.

To develop this special connection with each and every customer, you need to make sure that you’re constantly thinking about them. You never stop having thoughts about them. When I’m working with a new lead, I’ll spend a few minutes thinking about the prospect. I’ll think about my past experiences with them, the things I liked about them and didn’t like about them. All this effort pays off when you finally nail that customer.

Third, you have to let your customers know that they are a part of the business. This means that you talk to them about anything that catches their eye. Whether it’s your delivery schedule, your return policy, or any other aspects of your business, you should talk about it. Customers don’t care how you run their business. They just want to know that you exist.

Fourth, you have to treat each and every customer like an important commodity. If you treat them like crap, chances are, they won’t come back. Treating your customers right is going to do wonders for the health of your business. More importantly, treating them like they’re the most important thing in the world will make them love you, and tell everyone about you.

Now you know what it takes to bring more customers to your business. Of course, these are not the only things that you need to work on if you want to understand “Why are my customers not blooming?” What I shared with you are only a few of the things that you need to work on. But I believe that I’ve shown you how quickly it can add up when you put your customer’s needs first. When you do this consistently, you’re going to see a noticeable increase in your sales and profits.
